About Trudi

For each of us, some part of our lives is who we are throughout our lives.

I loved to explain how things worked.

So after classroom teaching ended, it was time to tell the best about

teaching, tutoring, and training.

True Learning

A Renaissance To Establish Authentic Teaching

From children to adults, from one-on-one tutoring to large group presentations,

everyone wants to be participate in their learning.

That was the key to my career.

Let the learner do the learning.

Let the teacher be the facilitator.

I loved this role.

New Paragraph

Trudi's Viewpoint

In the 1960's education was about telling the  information

and testing was to see if the students remembered what they were told.

To prevent creating 'sheep children' that followed

a leader without thinking,

class lessons were adjusted to involve  thinking

and student learning teams.

Memorization expanded to analyzing and evaluating

the new information for implications.

True learning was happening.

When children can learn independently, authentic -true learning - is achieved.
