California is already telling people when they cannot charge

their EV cars and trucks

Why?

Their electrical grids are suffering reduced output.

Why?

They had shut down many electrical plants.

You will have no way to travel except government run mass transit

- a proven loss leader across the country.

Higher taxes will be needed to fund and expand the mass transit.

Saad to say, not having a car will save you 

 money you will need for mass transit.
